Our primary Peruvian organic cocoa and chocolate blocks are so unique that we made a short film about the process.
There are other top-shelf Fairtrade origins in the Caribbean - like The Cooperative Conacado in The Dominican Republic -that we use in our blended drinking chocolate; these origins are purchased in smaller quantities depending on availability after harvest seasons.

Yes, we buy only gluten-free ingredients and then batch-test our drinking chocolate blends at the final stage of manufacturing.

Most definitely vegan-friendly. We love all the baby animals!
However, you might have noticed our allergen statement *May be present: milk. This is for folks with allergies. While our drinking chocolate doesn't have dairy ingredients, it may have traces from sharing a manufacturing plant and a warehouse with other products that do.

We do a cane sugar-free option in our Shadow Tiger blend. It's a Low GI option, but it's still all sugar and drinking chocolate should always be viewed as a treat!

On average, there is 0.016mg of caffeine per 20g serve, which is pretty small compared to a shot of coffee: >200mg.

We recommend keeping our drinking chocolate mixes in an airtight jar, out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place.

These are best kept airtight, or just re-seal your 250g bag with the handy built-in zip, out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place.
*For our barista friends, keep these babies off the coffee machine in a spot that's consistently under 20C.

It's a balancing act, and we have a mix of home compostable and soft plastic recyclable bags. Each bag will indicate whether it's a compostable or a soft plastic recyclable material.
We are working to make plant-based, home-compostable bags a reality. However, the larger 1kg bags and some more hygroscopic products aren't suitable for compostable films at this stage. We are still working on this and plan to be completely plastic-free soon.

First, check the bag for the compostable logo. Then, tear it into smaller pieces and place it into your home compost bin.
We use the Sub Pod home composting system – the worms do all the work over 26 weeks!
